Wow! The Waverly Police Department has gone above and beyond once again! For the first time ever, Waverly Police held their first "Shop With A Cop" event. Expecting to raise roughly $2,000, the generous residents of Waverly and Lafayette County came together to raise over $7,100! With more donations than previously expected, Waverly Police were able to expand the event to the entire Santa Fe School District.

In total, 52 children were given $150 each to pick out their favorite toys! Police officers assisted the children with their shopping and spread some holiday cheer. Overall, the first annual "Shop With A Cop" was a huge success. This extraordinary act of kindness surely made Waverly and Lafayette County proud!
