    We first met Betty over three years ago when we were moving out of state and wanted to find someone to lease our home. She found a family who stayed for three years and was also our rental manager during that time. When we returned to the area, we were ready to sell the property and Betty was also able to take care of this transaction. She represented us well during both the rental and selling process.     I would highly recommend Betty for all of your realtor needs! We used Betty to purchase an investment property and then Betty found us some renters. Our investment property was purchased through an IRA so Betty was instrumental in handling the purchase and then the rental funds as the requirements for this type of purchase are very particular. We can't wait to start the process again with Betty!

    Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $250K in Lakepointe, Shawnee, KS.
    Betty had a definite challenge in selling our home. Our first contract was for a price near our asking price, but the appraisal came in much too low. Betty worked diligently to try and determine the reason for the low appraisal, but it just came down to the fact that no homes similar to ours had sold in the past year in that area. We had another contract soon after and this time the appraisal was closer to the selling price, but not for a price we were willing to accept. We decided to take our home off the market for a few months before trying again. When we listed our home again, we went under contract and got an appraisal equal to the selling price. This final contract took some creative negotiating since the buyers couldn't close for 3 months after our contract date, so Betty negotiated a deal to allow the buyers to rent from us until closing date. Good deal for the buyers and good deal for us. It was a long process, but Betty worked diligently to sell our home for the best price possible.

    I hope it's a long time before we are once again selling our home, but when the time comes, I will definitely give Betty a call.
