  • Every Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. there is a very special gathering at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, located at 4801 Rockhill Road, in Kansas City, called "1 Million Cups." Each week at this gathering one or two entrepreneurs present a startup idea that is in the early stages of development. The presentation for each startup is six minutes long and is followed by 20 minutes of Q&A. The Q&A provides candid feedback from mentors, educators, advisors, and other entrepreneurs at these well-attended sessions. According to the 1 Million Cups website the goal of the weekly event is "...to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs."
