The graduating class of 2020 has had an interesting end to their school years at Kearney High School. As the whole coronavirus evolved, the District had to cancel onsight learning, and then quickly adapt to online learning. The class of 2020 rose to the occasion along with the District and the Community.

The graduating class of Kearney High School will not have the traditional celebratory walking out of high school for the last time today, May 12th. They will not have the parents with balloons, cameras, and all the craziness that becomes a wonderful memory for them. Instead, they will close their computers and symbolically log out of the school system.

To celebrate the graduating class, the school district has organized a Senior Parade on May 17th. The community and businesses are encouraged to participate. The parade vehicles are to be seniors and their families, and the community and businesses are encouraged to be along the route (social distancing rules apply) to show their support for this year's graduating class. The parade route is highlighted in the link below. Come on out and show your support.
