I go to the Liberty Community Center every morning to exercise. They have a fabulous work out area. You have a choice of free weights and/or a fabulous selection of weight machines. They also have bikes and other exercise equipment; so what ever you like to use or however you like to exercise or work out I am sure that you will find what you need at the community center. I went there to see what it was like and spoke with the lady at the front desk for several hours. You do not need to bring any ID telling them where you live because they don't base their subscription to the center on where you live. In fact they told me that they will accept membership from someone who lives in DC if they wanted to drive here to exercise. I find the people her very helpful, understanding and congenial. I find the people in Liberty very helpful. The cost of membership is not much and they also accept Silver Sneakers membership. I found this place very nice, clean and motivating. They actually make it very easy for me to come every day. They also have several pools and hot tubs that are awesome to use.

This monument is situated on what was once the farm of Michael Arthur. The eight witnesses of the Book of Mormon are listed on the monument as well as their testimony to the authenticity of the Book of Mormon. They never denied their testimony and their testimony appears in the front of each Book of Mormon.

This monument is located on Campbell Street outside of town in a large wooded area south of Liberty, Missouri. This monument was erected and dedicated in 2011. There are two graves there as well. This is a very peaceful and serine place. There are two benches on the property so that you can sit and contemplate whatever is important to you. This is an awesome place to sit and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This monument is secluded and private and there are few who even know about this place.

I love living in Liberty. This great little town is located in Clay County and offers an excellent school system; one of the best in the area. It also boasts a local university; "William Jewel College" which has been around since 1849. There are several other colleges in the area as well.

Liberty offers a historic downtown neighborhood, which includes several historic sites such as one of the banks that Jesse James and his gang robbed. They stole almost $60,000 and it has not been recovered yet. Maybe it is still out there somewhere! The bank has been converted into a museum for you to enjoy. The city is also home to the historic Liberty Jail which was the place where an LDS (Mormon) prophet, and others were held for some time. The location of the jail has also been turned into a museum of sort for visitors to enjoy. The city also offers many cultural experiences, abundant parks, recreational opportunities and safe neighborhoods.

Not only has Liberty, Missouri been voted one of the top 10 cities to live in over the years. It also has a great school district. One of the things I like about it, and something that surprised me, is that there are seven community parks in the area! Some of them offer ball fields, fitness trails, basketball courts, picnic areas and more. If you want more information you might turn to The Liberty Trails System which is a great resource.
