About four times every hour, the train comes through our picturesque town, adding to the ambiance It's a little loud if you are up close, but I personally enjoy the sound of the train whistle as it makes its journey through Parkville. The tracks lie just south of downtown and north of the river and carry all sorts of freight: coal, grain, ethanol, you name it! It's commerce at its best! Kids love to stop and watch the train, with supervision, of course. My boys both have pennies they left on the tracks to be flattened. A unique keepsake from our community.

I love to go in this gallery and see what is new. There are some very talented artists producing some very fine artwork. If you are looking for that perfect piece to complete your decor, this is a great place to look. Original artwork is an investment and a conversation piece. Cathy also does commission work if you have something specific in mind. Next time you come to the area, go take a look.
