Douglas County Lake is a free campsite in Baldwin. It features over 30 campsites as well as fishing, boating, hiking trails and is open to hunting. The wildlife area around the lake is 532 acres. In 2006, the lake was drained for dam repairs and other improvements. A restocking plan began as the lake started to fill back up, which included largemouth bass, channel catfish and crappie, and today the lake is a great place to go fishing!
