    Fall Creek Farms Subdivision
It's all in the name, Fall Creek Farms. One of the most spectacular neighborhoods of Lawrence, Fall Creek features some of the most unique, custom-built homes in town. Located on the southwest corner of Kasold and Peterson streets, the neighborhood climbs a hill that looks towards the northern edge of Douglas County and the Kansas River. Many of the original trees were preserved here during home construction, so when the season changes from summer to autumn, the setting here is truly amazing. The colors range from still green to purple, brilliant orange to burnt red. These homes are elaborately landscaped, making for beautiful scenes like the ones I've photographed for this site. This neighborhood is a must-see at any time of year, but fall season in Fall Creek Farms is certainly the time to check it out.

    Fall Creek Farms Subdivision
Fall Creek Farms is a subdivision in the north area of Lawrence south of I-70 bordered by Kasold Dr and the Deerfield neighborhood on the east, Stetson and Monterey Way on the south and west and Peterson Dr on the north. Peterson Drive is accessed behind the Hallmark Card plant at the I-70 Lawrence West interchange. Fall Creek Farms is an amazing Lawrence icon created by the Fritzel family on land purchased by them 50 years ago. Many of the high end homes and local celebrities such as Bill Self, Danny Manning and our last KU football coach Turner Gill have lived in this subdivision over the years. The Fritzel family has made this their home and make development and home design decisions a personal decision. Access to I-70 for Topeka and KC is excellent and 6th Street is only a few blocks away with major grocery stores and restaurants. If you want quality and can pay for it, this is an excellent area to investigate.
