    Lake Wabaunsee is surrounded by the beautiful Flint Hills! Located six miles east of Eskridge, KS on Highway 99 or 18 miles south of I-70 on Highway 99. Close cities include Topeka, Manhattan, Emporia, and Council Grove. Some of the lake homes sit up further on the hill, creating a wonderful view. Some of the lots are flat, allowing easy access to docks and the lake. A nice feature of Lake Wabaunsee is the ability to play golf at Wabaunsee Pines 9-hole golf course overlooking the lake. Member access and green fee information TBD. There is a campground on the north side of the lake which you can book through the City of Eskridge. Fishing is good for catfish, crappie and bass, to name a few.

    Beautiful all year round, the Lake Wabaunsee area is nestled in the Flint Hills of Kansas. Homes on the lake are designed to live in full or part time. A walk, run or bike ride around the lake is 4.8 miles. Boating, skiing, canoeing, jet skis, paddle boards and swimming are some common sights at the lake. Fishing is plentiful, crappie is a favorite. You can try your best to get small mouth and large mouth bass, catfish, even walleye! Even when weather has been cold enough, ice skating and ice fishing are a fun time.

    The area has a 9 hole golf course, Wabaunsee Pines, that is surrounded by the lake and beauty of the Flint Hills. Fees and carts are available at low costs. There is a lodge for hanging out and getting a cold beer and the bait shop for some other needs you might have. There is a Bed and Breakfast called the The Gem Resort. "Lake Time" is always in effect!
