“As a Realtor in Columbia since 1984, I have experienced many changing market conditions as well as the tremendous growth of our great city. It has been exciting for me to have the opportunities associated with being a Realtor and I feel fortunate to have found a career that I am passionate about and have been a successful at year after year. Because of my passion and dedication for my job, it has translated into helping hundreds of families fulfill their dream for home ownership. Although we are considered sales people, I don’t feel my job is to sell but has more to do with listening to peoples needs and helping them fulfill their goals by working hard and being an honest advocate for my clients. Over the years I have formed a Team of Realtors and staff who have the same philosophy and work ethic as me. Together we strive to offer top notch service to best serve our clients and customers. Sold ahome in 2014 condo in Douglas Park, Columbia, MO 65203.
Don can handle challenges! And as an elderly couple finally realizing that the time had come to move to an “independent living” facility, we presented plenty. Our 15-year-old condo was in a great location, but it was in need of considerable maintenance and upgrading, some we had recognized, some we had not. A similar condo a few doors away had failed to sell for several months. Don patiently spent hours educating and encouraging us (occasionally kicking and screaming a tad) to do the things his experience told him it would take to bring our place up to its potential, procedures with which we had zero expertise, which in total took about two months to complete.

The independent contractors (carpentry, carpeting, roofing, and more) he recommended were all professional, prompt, and very helpful. Don also found the perfect person to handle the sale of our household goods that would not fit in our new apartment, and the removal of a huge amount of (memory-filled but otherwise valueless) stuff that we had accumulated over 60 years of married life. And he even recommended a small family-operated moving company, the members of which actually made the process of packing and moving across town enjoyable.

The bottom line: every bit of Don’s advice was spot on, as witnessed by the fact that our condo was sold within three days after it was listed, and the net proceeds of the sale, after all those repairs, renovations and other expenses associated with the sale, exceeded (by about $20,000) the expectations we had when we first decided to sell.

Throughout the whole, 6-month-long, process (from when we first contacted Don and put our name on a waiting list for a new apartment until the closing) Don was always there to help with every step. Much more than an agent, he served as our advisor, wise counselor, and even at times psychotherapist (trust us: moving for the last time is stressful). He is a true professional--by the standard that applies to the medical profession--who puts his clients’ interest first, and will go that extra mile.

As witnessed by one final illustration: Closing Day. It was the first cold snap of the winter. We were due at the title company office at 10:30. Our car would not start (we had sold our other car a few days earlier). Don picked us up at our apartment and chauffeured us to the closing.

Sold a for approximately $275Khome in 2014 singleFamily in Douglas Park, Columbia, MO 65203.
When I recently had to relocate my family out of Columbia and sell my home, Don Ginsburg and his team of professionals did everything possible to make sure our sale was completed. Relocating a family is challenging enough, and working through various ups and downs with potential buyers was even more difficult still in our case, but Don and his team brought all of our complex issues through to completion. Moreover, they demonstrated great knowledge, experience, and professionalism throughout the process -- and most importantly, an understanding and caring approach to my wife and I as individuals. I would not hesitate to give Don and the Ginsburg Group our highest recommendation. I am certain that they will meet and exceed your expectations.

As a home inspector, I have somewhat of an insider's view of the Real Estate community and I can assure you that Don's ethics and business practices are far and above the norm and exemplifies what a Real Estate professional can accomplish as both a sellers and buyers representative.
Negotiating through the selling and buying process can be complicated and I always experienced him to be knowledgeable, fair, and yet non-compromising when it was appropriate.

Don has sold two homes for us and we HIGHLY recommend him. The fist home needed some updating and he was very helpful with that process as we were out of town quite a bit. He is professional, kind, knowledgeable and efficient - a pleasure to work with.

Sold ahome in 2014 singleFamily in Douglas Park, Columbia, MO 65203.
Don helped us greatly in the sale of our home. Although the home is beautifully finished and constructed, it was a challenge to sell due to some of its unique features. Don was quite creative and helpful in finding a solution that would work for candidate buyers. He was available 24X7 to meet and answer our concerns/questions. Ultimately, he found a buyer and everything worked out well for all parties involved. Don is high integrity and has a great personality! We would use him again without reservation.

We have worked with Don Ginsberg on several occasions and have nothing but wonderful things to say.
First, Don will go out of his way to help a seller understand what it takes to sell a house. He is always available for questions and concerns and very in tune with the market.
Second, when purchasing our home,Don listened to what we wanted and helped us find a perfect fit.
If the time comes to purchase a new home the first person we will call is Don

Don helped me buy my home this past summer and was extremely helpful. I felt like his goal was to find the right house for me and my family. He was not pushy or impatient like I've experienced from realtors in the past. He communicated his opinion honestly and helped us consider a variety of options. We are now in our new home and love it. I would highly recommend Don and his team because of his professionalism, responsiveness, and flexibility.

Sold ahome in 2013 condo in Douglas Park, Columbia, MO 65203.
We first enlisted Don, based on his sales record and other recommendations, to help us sell an older condominium. He was instrumental in recommending staging, needed repairs, a suggested listing price, and how we should market a property in what is a surprisingly competitive Midwest market. He stuck with us and we were able to sell the property to the satisfaction of us and a younger couple, this with a roof repair inspection and estimate thrown in for good measure at the last minute. He then helped us quickly negotiate the purchase of a different condo ideally suited to our needs. Don is professional, cheerful, personable, dependable; and he almost instantaneously returns emails or phone messages. And his office staff ain't bad either. Don is a peach!

Don sold our home recently and we found him to be very honest, professional and easy to work with. Our home sold fairly quickly and Don was very helpful helping us relocate. We could not have done it without him. I would highly recommend Don to be your agent.

My wife and I have worked with Don Ginsburg on several occasions over the past several years. I dealt with him first when I was a buyer and he was acting for the seller - I was so impressed with his professionalism and expertise that when the time came to sell the house, I asked him to act for me. As I expected, he did an excellent job for me and secured a quick sale. There were subsequent bumps in the road with the buyers and he dealt with those issues quickly and effectively. He was always totally honest with me about what I should expect and gave me forthright and excellent advice as to how to proceed, which I appreciated very much. He was always willing to go the extra mile to get the deal completed. Nothing was too much trouble. Don also acted for us when we purchased the house that we live now - again, it was not the simplest of transactions given the age and state of the house, but he did an excellent job of maintaining good lines of communication with the seller and ensured that we were able to perform all the due diligence that we needed to do. He was also extremely helpful in recommending third party contractors for us to talk to and was generally a great source of sound advice that we trusted 100%. Don Ginsburg's experience, professionalism, and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the deal done is enough to warrant the most glowing of reviews - but I especially valued his honest and sound counsel. Buying and selling houses can be a anxious business. It always felt good to know that Don was on our side!
