Are you a fitness fanatic? The head of the Katy Trail starts right here in Clinton. It provides 240 miles of biking, hiking or equestrian riding to Machens, MO. Clinton also offers a free gym to the residents of Henry County. This gym is located in the Civic Center and is complete with an indoor track, exercise equipment, courts for numerous sports, and a room for fitness classes such as yoga or Zumba.

Are you into hunting and fishing? Clinton is located just minutes away from Truman Lake where the crappie fishing is fantastic! Henry County also has several acres of core ground for hunting. The Golden Valley Shooting Range is just west of town.

Are you looking for entertainment? Clinton has a skydiving facility just east of town, B&B Theaters is a nicely updated theater with reclining seats, Olde Glory Days which is a Fourth of July celebration, a Christmas Parade with downtown lighting ceremony the day after Thanksgiving, a Wine Stroll in October, and a Quilt Walk is in April.
