This Missouri River town of roughly 800 residents might be small, but its stellar school system and neighborly residents make Wellington, Missouri seem so much bigger. With easy access to US Highway 24, Wellington is less than 30 minutes away from endless shopping and dining options.

Running right through the middle of town, the Old Trails Road Scenic Byway invites visitors to traverse the same path taken by Westward settlers 150 years ago, offering stunning views of the Missouri River and its rolling bluffs. For children, the public park provides plenty of room to run and the Wellington-Napoleon R-IX School District is regarded for its high standards and excellent education.

If you are looking for a safe, quiet, and inviting space for you and your family, Wellington delivers!

    Wellington, MO
Today I had the pleasure of driving through the countryside of my childhood hometown. I love seeing the farmland through Wellington and Napoleon where I grew up and where many of my family and friends still reside. I'm brought back to the values that farm life brings and the strong work ethics that are instilled in farm families.

There is a peacefulness in these communities that I don't find elsewhere. I still have a great love for these towns and if you are looking for a country life close to the city, these towns can offer that and more. The school is a great one, even though it's small; just check out the state rankings of Wellington-Napoleon R-9 and I'm sure you will be impressed!
