While real estate is a passion, my family comes first. I have a wonderful wife, two remarkable daughters, and a rescue dog named Mukka. When not working, I enjoy spending time with family outdoors … walking, and exploring new places on vacations.

My wife and I were high school sweethearts, and, after serving in the U.S. Navy, we returned to Eastern Jackson County to raise our family. We grew up in this area and are very familiar with the K.C. Metro. We know it’s a great place to live, work, and raise a family. We believe in being active in our community, and a career in real estate is a great way to do so while helping others. If you are looking for a realtor who is helpful, responsive, patient, and an all-around great guy, you should go with Joey. I could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish! Joey made the entire process of purchasing our first home (which seemed quite daunting in the beginning) as smooth and approachable as it could have possibly been. He was always quick to respond to our questions and to give us updates. Joey also made the experience very personal; I always felt like he made us a priority and fit us into his schedule even though I’m sure he had a lot of other things on his plate. Joey patiently answered any question we had and was also great about educating us along the way concerning care for our future home and home buying tips. Joey always went out of his way to make sure that we understood every step of the process of buying our first house as well as selling our first house and it made the whole process for us much easier just by having him as our realtor. Joey is an excellent realtor. As a first time home buyer the process was a little daunting. However, Joey made everything incredibly easy. In a world where everyone is a "Relator" Joey is the gold standard for what a professional relator is. When talking to others about their experience with realtors I know Joey is different. We randomly picked him off the internet because of all his great reviews and I am glad we did. We spoke to a couple other realtors and learned immediately that Joey was much more knowledgeable and professional. My wife and I are from NE Colorado and are planning to retire in the Kansas City area to be near our grandchildren. We picked Joey out randomly, a year and a half ago, by looking up realtors in the area with good reviews. What a stroke of good fortune we did!He has been extremely responsive every step of the way and is so very courteous and professional. Joey was very patient and eager to look at a variety of possibilities for us since we currently live 10 hours away. We finally did locate the perfect retirement spot that fits our needs in every way. I'm now a first time homeowner thanks to the help, patience and diligence of Joey Zarrillo! From several offers to now owning a brand new home in the city I ultimately wanted to be - Joey made the process easy to understand. His knowledge is endless and I never doubted him. It was almost like working with an Uncle or a trusted family member! We even went to a few houses for viewing so he could educate me on what to look for and what red flags I might come across. Joey was a true advocate and fought for what was right the entire way through! The best part of working with Joey was that he was always more focused on answering my questions, giving good advice, and being a voice of reason vs. just "closing another deal". Joey helped me buy a house during the wild west summer of 2020, and I can't recommend his services highly enough. He was patient, endlessly kind, and wonderful at providing both expertise and emotional support throughout the highs and lows of trying to nab a home in this market. He is very responsive and ready to set up viewings and submit offers at the drop of a hat. Since I was buying my first home, I spent a lot of time reading articles and researching the process and often found advice cautioning buyers against trusting their agent too much. This is not something you have to worry about with Joey; he's on your side the whole way through.
