Bonner Springs has a surprisingly robust calendar of events. Some of them are annual, like Tiblow Days in August, the Renaissance Festival that lasts several weeks each fall, and the Christmas Parade at year's end.

And then there are the park events. You'll find the city band playing free concerts on warm summer eves. Look for the signs advertising performances at Murphy Park.

Kobi's Bar hosts bike night on Wednesdays for motorcycle enthusiasts. The restaurant/bar has music concerts featuring local and regional bands from time to time. The Azure Amphitheater serves up concerts from musicians you know and love. Willie Nelson, Korn, ZZ Top, and Clint Black are on the schedule in 2021.

Not all of the events are purely entertainment. Each week during warm weather, a local farmer's market offers produce grown nearby. Arrive early for the best selections! Lions Park staff host batting practice sessions and other events designed to improve skills, as well as fun ones like their "silent disco," where area residents meet, greet, and have fun together.

Local churches sponsor blood drives, bible camps. The YMCA offers classes like Taekwondo.
The Ag Hall of Fame is a museum that so far this year, has held a Crossfit© competition, a tractor crawl, and monthly themed adventures for children (Farm Tales), not to mention a concert or two along the way.

I could probably add dozens of other events that are held in Bonner Springs, but I imagine by now you get the idea - you don't have to go far to have fun if you live here!
