Clinton's Soda Fountain is a staple within Independence Square. Clinton's has been in business since 1988. Harry Truman worked at this very location at the pharmacy when he was younger. This place really is a blast from the past, such a cool experience, and the staff is always wonderful. I personally love their original banana split!

I was just a little girl when we lived in Independence. I lived in a little house across from Saint Mary's. I remember we were too close to the school to ride the bus so we had to walk. Walking to school back then was an entirely different situation. It was just me and my brother and sister walking every day six blocks to school. We attended Bryant Elementary and it was a great little school. I am sure there is no teacher there that I know. I can see some pictures and recall my good times there. It is a great school to get an education. I miss those days walking and attending there.
