This mystical site contains history dating back over 5,000 years. Well, you don't have to travel all the way to England to discover the wonders of Stonehenge. Instead, visit the Stonehenge exhibit at Union Station. You will be able to experience the fascinating history of the people behind the stones.     A fun way to enjoy a local train ride offered by a local not for profit organization run by volunteers. Enjoy a train ride on one of the Model G-16's! The KC Northern Miniature Railroad is open seasonally starting in May through September. The hours on Saturday are from 10:0 a.m.-6:00 p.m. and Sundays and Holidays from noon-6:00 p.m. The train runs on an oval half mile track and is located at 5940 NW Waukomis Drive in Kansas City, Missouri.

    The Uncorked KC Wine Festival will be celebrating their 4th Annual event on September 7, 2019 from 1:00- 9:00 p.m. at Union Station in Kansas City. You will have the chance to enjoy over 150 different wines from around the world, local food trucks offering gourmet meals, a live DJ providing music entertainment, a photo booth and more. For this event, dress or cocktail attire is requested, but not a requirement. You must be 21 years of age or over to attend this event. Tickets are required and range from $50-$60.

If you love wings, you will have the opportunity to try some of the best wings in Kansas City. Tickets for this event cost $25 and includes: 15 wing samples, yard games competition, live music, and voting for the best wings. The Kansas City Wing Fest will be held on August 31, 2019 at Knuckleheads from 2:00-11:00 p.m. Live music will be performed by Chris Stewart, Uncle Kracker, and Big Time Grain Company. Food sampling will occur between 2:00-6:00 p.m. and the live music starts at 6:00 p.m.

    The 15th Annual Kansas City Fringe Festival is from July 14-28th this year! With the festival coming to a close soon, be sure to make the time to head out there for an amazing experience!! With rich cultural roots from Scotland almost a century ago, this event brings the community together through the arts. Fringe festivals are found all over the world and in major U.S. cities such as Los Angeles, Atlanta, Miami, and New York City. The Kansas City community is so blessed to have a Fringe Festival in our own city! The Fringe Festival works incredibly hard to keep ticket prices low so that the arts are available to anyone and everyone. This year, tickets are only $5 for adults and free for children ages 12 and under!! With entry to the Fringe Festival, you get to see all the shows and galleries as well as meet some of the participating artists.     It's almost that time of year again! Chiefs season!!! I am so excited for this football season and I am ready to cheer on our very own AFC West Champions, the Kansas City Chiefs!! They had such an awesome season last year!! The first Preseason game is on August 10th, 2019 at Arrowhead Stadium against the Cincinnati Bengals. However, the game I am looking forward to the most is when we play the New England Patriots on December 8th, 2019. Unfortunately, that is not a home game.
