    Bar K Dog Park Bar is located at 501 Berkley Pkwy in Kansas City, MO near the Berkley River Front Park. Bar K is truly a unique concept in Kansas City as the building that houses the restaurant and bar area is made out of recycled shipping containers! Not only is Bar K a full service restaurant and bar, its also a fully fenced, off-leash dog park!

    Bring your dog and kick back while trained dog-care professionals watch the dogs while they play, you can even leave your pup there while you run a few errands or bring your laptop and get some work done in the conference room and meeting space area. Bar K is also one of the cleanest dog parks in Kansas City, with artificial turf throughout. Enjoy the outdoor patio area while your dog cools off in the dog pool shaped like a bottle of Tito's.

    Bar K also features dog obstacle courses, a beer garden, a roof deck and a stage area for regular concerts. Bar K is open from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. seven days a week, and they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Humans get in free, guest passes are $10 for your first dog and $5 for each additional dog. Memberships are also available for purchase.

    The Big Slick Celebrity Weekend, fundraiser for KC's Children's Mercy Hospital, is coming this weekend. Local celebrities including Eric Stonestreet, Paul Rudd, Rob Riggle, Patrick Mahomes, and many others gather annually for various weekend events.

    The National Museum of Toy and Miniatures has done it again! On February 2nd, 2019 they will open their amazing Doll Gallery with some new dolls for patrons to enjoy. The Doll Gallery will be putting away some of their dolls that were previously on exhibit and replacing them with some fantastic new dolls. There will be over 20 dolls on display. The Doll Gallery will have a variety of dolls from different eras. Some dolls you can view are a Queen Ann-style Doll from the late 1700’s thru early 1800’s, dolls by the famed African American artist, Leo Moss, and a Japanese Friendship Doll that is from the early 1900’s.
