I stumbled across KC Wineworks while in search of a date night place for my hubby Andy and me. This looked like a very cool venue and it's open Monday-Saturday. It is closed on Sunday. There are gift cards available and tours will resume after the pandemic. This chic spot is located downtown at 1829 McGee Street. Check this out and spread the word. Enjoy shopping and dining locally.

If you live in or around the greater Kansas City area you are probably a huge fan of the Chiefs, our beloved NFL team. It's safe to say that all who had the privilege to watch the Superbowl last February can recall who you were with, where you were, and your reaction. What a super game it was and one that Kansas City will never forget. It was a fabulous game and the best outcome for the Chiefs!

Royals baseball is back for 2020. Even with limited spectators, we can all still enjoy the classic game of "let's play ball". Think about roasting peanuts, grilling hotdogs, and creating Velveeta nachos at home and play baseball back noise. I promise it will be the best seat in the stadium! Go Royals!

Hodge Park is located in the Northland off of Northeast 96th Street and I-435. Hodge Park is the second-largest park in Kansas City with over 1,000 acres. The newest addition to this spectacular park is the large playground. The playground has many free-standing climbing and swinging stations. There is a large tower for climbing and sliding down a zip line, and swings. Another great addition is a large pavilion with picnic tables and some covered benches to catch a break in the shade.

While you are visiting Hodge Park, you can step back in time at the Shoal Creek Living History Museum, take a hike along the winding nature trail, play ball, or a round of golf, enjoy any of the many green spaces, or visit the amphitheater.
