What a beautiful day to enjoy lunch on the patio at Whistle Stop Coffee & Mercantile located at 227 SE Main St, Lee's Summit, MO. Today was my first visit to this local hometown secret and I ordered the delicious Chicken Salad Melt Panini and the Ginger Peach Tea. I was not disappointed in the least bit and I will most definitely be going back soon. The service was superior and the food was prepared quickly and was very tasty. Whistle Stop started in downtown Lee’s Summit over 26 years ago. It is very apparent that many locals call this quaint little spot home.
