    The Cedars in Lenexa KS is located north of 87th St and just west of Lackman Rd. The subdivision is conveniently located for easy access to Interstates 35, 435 and 69 Hwy. The school district is Shawnee Mission.

    Home prices range from $220,000 for smaller split levels needing updating, to larger two story homes priced in the lower $300's that have been updated. There even was a ranch home recently built on a rare vacant lot, by Willis Construction in 2019. This rare ranch property sold in the mid $300's.

    Enjoy the walking trail located west of Acuff Ln that you can get to from 87th St. Rising Star Elementary school is nearby just off Candlelight Lane and community parks are nearby. The new Lenexa City Center is just down the street off 87th St Pkwy. Shopping and grocery stores are nearby too!

    The Cedars is a wonderful neighborhood in Lenexa located north of 87th Street, between Pflumm Road and Lackman Road. Most of the houses there were built in the late 1980's, and feature primarily two story living, though ranch, split level, and 1.5 story plans were also used. It's a friendly neighborhood and has an excellent location, conveniently located between I-35 and I-435 for easy commuting. The Cedars is also near Indian Trails, the Lenexa city pool, and Sar Ko Park, a lovely park with a beautiful lake and walking trails. I know The Cedars very well, having moved into a new house there in 1987, and lived there for 22 very happy years.
