The area contains unique fern-draped rock bluffs, heavily-timbered hills of oak and hickory, rolling grass expanses, and a variety of wildlife. The foliage provides brilliant and showy fall colors. It's beautiful for a Sunday drive, or just to take in the country life and enjoy the fresh air and the beauty of nature. Poosey is within minutes from Jamesport, Chillicothe, and Trenton. A conservation area full of hunting, fishing, nature trails, camping, hiking, and don't forget horseback riding.
