The market is starting to shift. The rates are creeping up, however, we are still seeing a trend of house prices on the higher side. If you still have some equity in your home, I would not waste any time at all. If you are thinking of selling at all, now is a great time.

As you read on here, I am a Grain Valley resident. My family moved here seven years ago and we have not looked back. This town is great for all! It still has that small-town feel with all family-friendly neighborhoods and very little commercial! We are approximal 12 minutes to the hospital, we have great local stores, a few more restaurants, and mostly locally owned! We are the Grain Valley Eagles and everyone is very proud of that! We do great in all sports, our high school band is one of the most award-winning bands around, and our schools are nationally known! Something for all the students! Great for commuters with only a couple of minutes to I-70!

We are one of the fastest-growing communities for several years running! Our schools are among the best in Missouri in academics and sports! Love that everyone stays involved! I hope to see you around!

As the summer break comes to an end, it's great to see the school parking lots full again with students anticipating the new school year. This year has been a different one, as we have braved before. The football practices have begun, the band is working harder than ever, and so much more going on as we look for the new normal. Teachers are working, day and night, on their study plans to make sure the students are where they need to be after the last school year of 2020. The county has mandated masks but the students will be attending in the classrooms. This will make a huge difference in all with their mental health. Our outstanding leaders in our community go above and beyond to ensure the best. I am proud to say that Grain Valley is our home!!

    Grain Valley, MO
Why Grain Valley? Well, let me tell you a few things about this small town living we have going on here. My family and I moved here about seven years ago and have come to love this small town with the conveniences of the larger towns. We offer four elementary schools that are very well accredited with distinction and they are some of the top schools in Missouri. Our middle schools have some of the best teachers around with awards in all departments and our high school was voted US News & World Report as a 2021 best high school! We have recently become a 5A school and so our athletic department stepped up our game! We are close if not #1 in all sports.

Grain Valley offers lots of great subdivisions, friendly neighborhoods, and room to grow within our community. Homes start out from $150,000 to approximately $650,000. We are very diverse and are perfect for commuters. Most of our homes in the area have been built in the 90s up to today! We are one of the fastest-growing cities in Missouri with our perfect location! You feel a small-town vibe from the time you arrive!

Some call Grain Valley “The Gateway to Kansas City”, considering Interstate 70 runs right through town and heads into Kansas City, one can understand! Interstate 70 runs coast to coast which is a major thoroughfare for sure.

Grain Valley is one of the fastest-growing communities in Missouri and takes pride in its economic development by way of progressive leadership in City Hall. These are exciting times for this suburban, rural city. Come along – your home awaits!

This is a 10-acre park in the heart of Grain Valley that offers a lot of amenities. There is a skate park, two playgrounds with swings, an asphalt walking trail, and two lighted baseball fields. There is also a pavilion that can be used for larger gatherings. The pavilion has three elevated stages along with private restrooms. There are four picnic shelters with BBQ grills available for gatherings as well. This is a great park for family hangouts, walks, and all-around fun. This park is a fun way to enjoy the nice weather.

Looking for a new place to enjoy a good beer with friends or just a night out for a few laughs, look no further. This new local brewery just opened in Grain Valley, and is definitely a local hotspot you need to add to your list to visit soon!

Iron Kettle Brewing has four different areas that you can sit and relax for a drink or a bite to eat and those include indoor tables and also outdoor patio seating. The service was great and the staff is very knowledgeable on their hand-brewed specialties. Their menu has a wide variety of items from Appetizers, Salads, Pizzas, Twice Baked Skillet Potatoes, and Skillet Mac & Cheese.
I highly recommend their brewed on-site "Lemonade Seltzer" that I enjoyed during my visit. Go check it out for yourself and bring a friend to enjoy a gorgeous sunny day!!

Looking for a new place to enjoy dinner with the family or enjoy the beautiful weather on a patio, visit the new Captain's Sports Lounge, located in Grain Valley. The service was top notch and the food was definitely far superior to normal bar-type food. Their menu has a wide variety of choices to please even the pickiest eaters. They have an amazingly large outdoor patio area which is great for social distancing and will be featuring live music and entertainment throughout the year.

Even though they may be a sports bar, the menu and drinks go above and beyond. A few of their favorites include appetizers, burgers, wings, pizzas, and many other entrees. Stop in to enjoy their fan-favorite brunch on Sundays that features bottomless Bloody Mary's or Mimosas.

I highly recommend their signature "Girls Night Out" drink that I enjoyed on their patio. Go check it out for yourself and bring a friend!
