    There is so much to be proud of at Lawson High School. This National Blue Ribbon Award winning school is home of the Fighting Cardinals. Many of the buildings that Mr. Watkins spent half a century building – including an elegant home and a three-story woolen mill – have been preserved to give visitors a sense of life in the 1870's.
