Virtual, face to face or part-time the 2020/2021 Liberty Public Schools will begin September 8th. As of today, K-5 will go full time as "normal". 6-12th grades will go two days a week depending upon their last name and the letter it begins with. Students will be split into two different timeframes - Monday/Thursday and Tuesday/Friday with Wednesdays dedicated to all-day virtual teaching while leaving the other days of the week virtual on the student's time. Masks will be worn on the bus, in school, and when not eating lunch. Coronavirus-19 has knocked all school districts a little off course in the past months. All area districts have worked diligently over the past months to come up with a plan to get our kids all back into school or set up for success to learn virtually as we approach the 2020-21 school year. Liberty has rolled out their plans for elementary, middle, and high schools allowing families choices, and informing them of what they can expect with each option.

Follow the link for a message from Liberty School District's SuperIntendent, Dr. Jeremy Tucker regarding Liberty School District's Return to Learn Plan.

It's the time of hustle, bustle, fun, family and friends but there are families in need. Think about giving back to our wonderful community and donate canned goods. If everyone would donate one canned item, we would be able to donate so much to help the Liberty Community Christmas Tree Commission. This program helps families and seniors in our area who need help during this time of year. Each recipient receives boxes of non-perishable food items, a variety of perishable goods and gifts for each child in the family. The goal is to provide for 400 households.

Drop off places are at Liberty School, as well as the St. James School and the Liberty Community Center. Food drive runs now, November 26th until November 30th.

Thank you in advance for your help and love for 2018.
