The Anderson County Cornfest is held annually the 4th weekend in September. This year the headliner was Montgomery Gentry with Whiskey Myers and opening the show was Little Texas. It was a day long event aimed at bringing community members together in celebration of arts, culture, leadership and civic efforts. Cornstock is definitely a family friendly event with games, music and fun. This is an event you won't want to miss next year!

Second Saturdays is one of the many things I love about Garnett. Every second Saturday of each month there will be sales, music, local vendors and more. Join us on Saturday, June 11th from

Bicycle enthusiasts are welcomed on the Prairie Spirit Trail. Come ride this trail that covers 52 miles from Ottawa to Iola, with stops in small towns, such as Garnett and Richmond along the way! It is a great experience.
