Among the many parks in Blue Springs, this is one of my favorites. Besides being large with plenty of open and treed areas, it features playground type equipment, doggie water fountain, and a walking trail around the park that follows around the lake. You can enter from the parking lot or lakeside. There is even a doggie lake for pups to swim in. My bully doesn't particularly like the lake, but he loves the interaction. There always seems to be plenty of other furry friends around to play with. If your pup gets a bit dirty, there is even a doggie shower at the main exit. It's nice to have a place like this that's local. Be sure to check it out, with your pup of course.
