  • This subdivision is gorgeous! The homes are each unique, with very well kept yards, and nestled in big mature trees. It is also very close to grocery shopping, pharmacies, restaurants, bowling, a movie theater, an elementary school, and Burr Oak Woods Conservation area. Driving through this neighborhood makes you feel like you are home. I am looking forward to seeing this cozy neighborhood during the holidays!

Heatherwood is a highly desirable neighborhood for families. It's on the north side of I-70 just west of 7 Hwy off of Duncan Road. There are nice neighborhoods surrounding it and a really nice state park to the north. It falls within Award-Winning Blue Springs School District. There are several streets with cul-de-sacs which are great for kids to ride bikes and play without the worries of extra traffic. Prices range from $199k to $240k through July 2019. There is a newly remodeled Price Chopper grocery store just a few blocks away. Great entertainment options like Blue Springs 8 Movie Theater and Lunar Bowl bowling and family fun center are just around the corner. There is easy access to I-70 by going back to 7 Hwy or taking Duncan Rd to Woods Chapel. It's less than a five minute drive either way, and there are several locally-owned restaurants along the way. Pink Hill Park and Burr Oak Woods Nature Center are really close and is a huge hit with kids. There are several trails, and they have a great summer program for 12 and under kids. The Mid-Continent Public Library North Branch is also very close to Heatherwood. I have clients and friends with kids that live in this neighborhood, and they love it.
