Farfalle Bistro in downtown Lee’s Summit is such a gem! The pasta was so fresh and absolutely delectable~the bold flavors were out of this world. I had the lemon basil pasta, and it was incredible. My girlfriends and I shared two amazing appetizers~the fresh tomato basil bruschetta and the fried burrata~and both were fantastic!

The atmosphere is quaint and cozy, which made it the perfect spot for us to relax, enjoy, and have some great conversations over our meal. Sharing delicious, comforting food with great friends is what it’s all about, and Farfalle delivered that experience perfectly. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!

Arcade Alley is such a fun spot in the heart of downtown Lee’s Summit! It has a great variety of games for all ages, and the energy is just fun and relaxed. We loved the private party room - plenty of space to gather with friends, and you can even bring in your own food, which is a huge plus! Perfect place to celebrate or just hang out and have a good time. Definitely worth checking out!

Main Slice Pizza located in downtown Lee's Summit is always a hit. You can order by the slice or whole pies, along with calzones, salads, breadsticks, etc. The pizza is thin and crispy with fresh toppings and a tangy sauce. The interior of the historic building shines through with brick walls and an old lift elevator showing in the back of the restaurant.

Main Slice is located at 235 SE Main St in Lee's Summit and is great for dinner or lunch, or just a resting place to have some drinks. A great place to take friends, family, or clients.

The Exit Room is an escape room adventure space offering group challenges and team-building problem-solving games. We went through the Grey Project room which is about aliens. We escaped with 21 seconds left with two adults and a room of teens! It was a really fun time, to figure out clues and make it out of the room before the time was up! Also, they usually give out a discount code on their social media page to save a little money for tickets. I would definitely go back and try a different room.

I also enjoyed the decor of the lobby and the way it was designed - like a Sherlock Holmes/steampunk style with dark moody colors, leather furniture, and rustic metal accents.

The Exit Room is located at 304 SW Market St in Lee's Summit. They do have their own parking lot which is nice.

Hand & Glove Coffee is my next favorite coffee & cocktail spot in Downtown Lee's Summit! You can even spike your morning coffee! They have a truly unique atmosphere that is unlike any other coffee spot you've been to.

If you are looking for a great spot in downtown Lee's Summit, the Whistle Stop Coffee Shop is the place to go!! They have fun and unique coffee drinks, and they have great fresh food options! The environment can't be beaten either with friendly employees. I definitely recommend checking it out!!

Oktoberfest is an annual event that happens in downtown Lee's Summit. This event takes place on the last weekend of September and lasts for three days. It features 80+ vendors, arts and crafts booths, live entertainment, the kid's street, a carnival, and a wagon parade. This year a new feature is The People's Tent. This tent will host a community stage, German food, music, and dancing. Don't miss out on this free event.

One of my favorite coffee shops is in Downtown Lee's Summit. They serve breakfast, lunch and an assortment of coffee and smoothies. Their coffee is Chauvin coffee which is from a roasterie based in Saint Louis, Missouri. I love the fact that Whistle Stop uses Missouri and local based products. Go check them out today!

Get ready! Only 49 days left until the annual Lees Summit Ocktoberfest. This year the festival will be September 28-29, 2018 in downtown Lees Summit. Enjoy the Biergarten, live entertainment, carnival, kids street, and over 80 arts and crafts vendors! This is always one of the highlights of the year in downtown Lees Summit!
