The Red Door Woodfired Grill in Lee's Summit is not just a great place to eat; it has great staff and exceptional management. I recently was able to speak to the Manager, Maria, who was able to assist me with a charitable contribution to an organization that I volunteer for. I love how Red Door of Lee's Summit supports its community and its customers. They are located at 2061 NW Lowenstein Drive in Lee's Summit

The UPS store on Woods Chapel, just minutes from Lakewood, has helpful staff. I sent over a small printing job online at the last minute, and it was completed shortly after submitting it. It was so easy and simple, and it was so close and convenient since its right off of 291 Highway and Woods Chapel Road. The staff was friendly and helpful. So glad I found this one-stop-shop for printing, packaging, and mailing my items. The UPS is located at 923 NE Woods Chapel Road

The Price Chopper at 937 NE Woods Chapel Road by Lakewood has the friendliest and most helpful staff. If they are not seen restocking the shelves, they they are on the floor assisting or taking out groceries for their customers. The produce and bakery department are fully stocked. I will be returning to shop at this well-maintained, clean and friendly store.

Wondering if we’re in a housing bubble? If so, you’re not alone. Here’s the latest on what experts over at Bloomberg Business are saying about the current housing boom. No doubt today’s environment feels a lot like the bubble market in 2006, but don’t worry, there are a few "market" differences.

Loans are much harder to get today than in 2006. Lenders have raised lending standards and loans are smaller in proportion to house values and borrowers’ income. Translation? Buyers can’t weasel their way into loans like they used to. The main factors in the current price run-up are tight supply and strong demand, not sloppy lending. Many think the boom has been years in the making. Having overbuilt in the 2000s, home builders underbuilt in the 2010s and now, it's playing catch up. Yes, home prices are soaring, but the market is strong with no hint of slowing down.

The Lakewood subdivision is a great place for a lifetime of fun! Located just off 291, it surrounds a gorgeous 365-acre lake that the locals adore. This subdivision contains both the Lee's Summit and Blue Springs school districts. This community is very active and always has something to do for the residents. The lake is a "no-wake" lake, so it's ideal for those who love peaceful days out on the boat. There is also a sandy beach people love to gather at to spend the day swimming, and if that's not enough, there are four swimming pools located in Lakewood! If that's not already exciting, there is a place for volleyball, golf, baseball, multiple park areas, and a clubhouse that can even be rented out for events. There are multiple clubs you can participate in, holiday events, and so much more. This subdivision is as lively as it gets!
