    From a location standpoint, one of the biggest positives is convenience. Homes in the neighborhood are marketed as being just minutes from major retailers, grocery stores, and highway access, which is helpful if you want easy runs to shopping, commuting routes, or the rest of Lee’s Summit/Kansas City. It will soon be even easier with the construction of the new shopping and dining district at 291 Hwy and 50 Hwy.

    My quick take: Mission Ridge is appealing if you want an older, comfortable Lee’s Summit neighborhood with a convenient location and a more everyday livable feel. It may be less ideal if you’re looking for newer homes, flashy amenities, or a heavily amenitized HOA-style neighborhood.
