    The WIN for KC Women's Triathlon came to Smithville Lake this weekend. What a great time to come check the area out and see all that this area has to offer.There was a great turnout to help cheer on the competitors. I'm guessing the swim portion was the most enjoyable event today!

    As I am in the new Rock Creek subdivision on the northern part of Smithville, I look out the window of one of the new homes and see a dozen white tail deer scamper across the field. It makes the true meaning of nature and serenity come to mind. I just love the lake environment!
