    Unity Village is a very small village in Jackson County that is the world headquarters for the Unity Church. The landmark that is well recognized in the area is the Unity Village Tower (originally a water tower) that can be seen from quite a long distance. This beautiful 1200 acre campus includes a golf course and trails. My own children spent many Saturday mornings at this location with their high school cross country team running the trails as part of their practice. The beautiful Italian architecture is breathtaking and there are many amazing fountains on the campus. During prom and homecoming week, you will find plenty of families meeting at this location as this is an ideal place to take memorable pictures.

    It's hard to miss the the tower of this Spanish style building with the red concrete tile roof as you are driving along Highway 350. I have come to know this place thru pictures my friends post of their children posing for prom photos' in front of the beautiful buildings and landscape. There are lots of couples that have their engagement and wedding photos' taken here too. My personal experience is from going to meetings in one of the many conference facilities on the property. Unity Village includes the largest display of fountains in the Kansas City area! There is a golf course on site, and a hotel and meeting facility available for the public to rent. It's really a wonderful place to go explore the architecture and peacefulness of the lush landscape.
