An historical white "round barn" west of Willard on Hwy 160, the Gilmore Barn is a three-story octagonal limestone-and-post structure built into sloping ground. The three-story barn is 70 feet in diameter with a red-shingle roof topped with an octagonal cupola. The interior is post-and-beam framing.The 1907 barn sits on the original 40 acres that descend to Clear Creek; additional land purchases brought land total acreage to near 700 acres. The barn now operates as an event center, available for private functions.
