    The first semester is officially over for the Blue Valley School District. Third-quarter begins today which means students that chose to switch modes of learning begin today also. Students in the Blue Valley School District have the option of online or in person.

    Graduations Ceremonies for the Class of 2020
    The Class of 2020 has earned a celebratory send-off. Blue Valley Schools will live stream commencement ceremonies from the two district stadiums. Graduates will have the ability to participate in the right of passage of walking across the stage. Note, graduations are not permitted until Phase Three of the state's reopening plan.

    Both of my daughters went through Sunset Ridge Elementary, and I can't say enough great things about how the school is run. It's located within Wellington Park subdivision. I've been a resident there for 17 years and love it!

    I can't say enough good things about Sunrise Point Elementary School in the Hampton Place Subdivision. My five year old started Kindergarten last Thursday and she has now decided she'd like to attend school "every single day for the rest of her life". Mr. David Sanders, principal, runs a tight ship, he already knows most students by their first names after one short week and the school runs like clock work. The staff is helpful, friendly and happy. My daughter feels secure, reassured, and self confident, which certainly correlates into excitement for learning. I was apprehensive sending my baby (first and only) to school. I drop her off in the morning, she gives kisses and hugs and marches right in the front door. We meet her in the evening to walk home together and she's excited to share what she's learned. Thank you Blue Valley School District for providing a great place to raise kids, one of the best in the nation!
