Liberty, MO Real Estate, Homes For Sale, School & Area Information

Liberty is a city located in Clay County, Missouri and is also considered a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri. Its close proximity to KCMO means that the residents of Liberty can enjoy a local home-town feel, while also having access to the cultural and recreational advantages of a big city. The city of Liberty has the honor of being recognized in August 2011 as the 7th Best Place to Live in America by CNN/Money Magazine.

Connection to transportation outlets makes Liberty an excellent choice for businesses, shopping, and recreation. Welcome back to school for the 2020/2021 school year! What an exciting week starting back to school. My three kids are all doing face to face, in person. K-5th grades will be back 100% face to face if families choose that option or 100% virtual online. Middle and high schools are a hybrid schedule where students who choose to face to face, attend school two days a week and virtual/from home the other three days. Two groups are separated by the letter of their last name:
A-L attends Monday and Thursday while M-Z attends Tuesday and Friday. All remaining days are virtual. Cheers to all of our amazing faculty, staff, and administrators for making it the best year possible given the current situation. Thank you!

We all love coffee, well, most of us do. What place is your best go-to to get caffeinated? My latest find, Overflow Coffee, is located in Liberty, and they introduced me to the "pour over" that is a slow brew, rich coffee that has amazing taste. It's well worth the extra wait. Check this out and try to support local shops when you can. Enjoy your coffee, no matter where you choose!

If you haven't been to Catfish & Tater in beautiful downtown Liberty, you must go!!! Heather and crew are always delightful, very helpful and always welcoming. This darling place only gets limited quantities of their items so you will not look like everyone at the party or restaurant. Catfish & Tater has excellent sales and is always new with fresh little items. In addition to their Liberty storefront, she also has a fabulous Facebook page/Instagram page and Website - so there is no excuses for you to not shop there. If you go, please tell Heather and/or Paige that I sent you. Happy shopping!

My husband turned me on to Longboards and I truly love this place. It has fabulous wraps, bowls, hummus and all kinds of yummy sauces. The owners are awesome as well and know exactly what Andy, my hubby, will order as he always gets the same thing, me on the other hand like to mix it up. Longboards has other locations in Mission, KS and Lee's Summit but my go to is with the one in Liberty. Try it today, you won't be disappointed!

Longboards in Liberty is located at 1173 W. Kansas St.
