Liberty is a city located in Clay County, Missouri and is also considered a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri. Liberty was founded in 1822, 18 years after Lewis and Clark passed through what we now call Clay County. Sunscreen and plenty of water are must-haves for those bright, sunny afternoons, while a hoodie or blanket tucked in the car will come in handy when the evening temperatures drop.
