Liberty is a city located in Clay County, Missouri and is also considered a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri. This Friday, November 11th is Veteran's Day, and the Liberty Community Center will be holding a celebration. Liberty Parks and Rec, the City of Liberty, American Legion Post 95, and VFW Post 4043 will join together to honor all who have served. Come enjoy patriotic music, the presentation of colors and awards, speakers, the laying of the wreath, and a 21-gun salute. The ceremony starts at 6:00 p.m. in the Liberty Performing Arts Theatre.
