    Horizons Business Park in Riverside is one of Platte County's, indeed, the KC Metro's true business success stories. At 700 acres it encompasses almost one-third of the land in Riverside.
    It has experienced explosive growth in the last several years and continues to add new buildings and new tenants. Complete build-out is not expected for another ten years. Riverside's population is about 3,000 and that number of workers come into Horizons Business Park on a daily basis.
    There is a diversity to the business base from the Seattle Fish distribution facility to auto parts suppliers serving both the GM and Ford plants. One recent addition has been a 12,000 square foot Food Truck Court, making lunchtime dining much more convenient. Restaurants and a gas station are in the Park's plans.

    Things are looking up in Riverside as it becomes not only a great place to work but a terrific place to live.

    Pickleball is the new craze but can be quite expensive. Head to EH Young Riverfront Park in Riverside Missouri to play on their public courts. They have eight new courts which are first come first serve, no pun intended. Courts are fenced so your stray serves don't disturb your neighbor nor do you have to travel far to retrieve them. EH Young park is located near the Argosy Casino. It also has a dog park, walking/biking trail, and a magnificent playground.

    If you get tired of the same old restaurant fare that seems to be standard on every menu, you're in for a real treat at the Corner Cafe. You'll still find all the typical fare that competitors offer, sure, but you'll find those extra somethings that push your casual dining experience to a whole other level! The variety is amazing with weekly offerings like scalloped potatoes made from scratch, chicken and noodles, meatloaf, fried okra, and banana split pie.

    Despite the vast number of menu offerings, I've been happily surprised that the food has never disappointed me, and the service is always fast and friendly. And let's face it, it's just plain fun to eat in a place that features eye candy, too, and I am not talking about people here. You can find something you hadn't noticed previously every single time you visit. Your first time around, you can't miss the classic motorcycles and eclectic decor that you'll see in the photos above.
