    This north side area of Blue Springs is great! You have close highway access and very close to the elementary and middle schools for the children! This is a very safe and lovely subdivision to raise kids. This area is a very attractive area not only for the location but for the schools as well. The award-winning schools that Blue Springs has to offer should be bragged about. The subdivision alone in the last year had 14 homes sold and they all sold within a week or so of being listed. The average sold price for this area is between $250,000 and $350,000 respectfully!

    Timber Oaks is a subdivision in the Award Winning Blue Springs School District. The neighborhood is located right off of 7 Highway and has quick access to Interstate 70 giving you access to anything and everything you would like to do in the Kansas City Metropolitan area. You can get to shopping centers within five-ten minutes, and you can get to the Super Bowl Champs stadium within 10-15 minutes!!     There is a Minsky's Pizza right off of NW HWY 7 and NW Timber Oak Drive, which takes you to the Timber Oaks Subdivision. It is the only sit down restaurant adjacent to the subdivision. They have some of the best pizza in the area and you could walk there from anywhere in the subdivision. They hire lots of people from Timber Oaks and I would highly recommend this establishment!

    When you come in the main entrance to Timber Oaks there is a Sonic Drive-In just to the south. It is great for our community in the summer time. People will walk with their families and pets to go get a quick bite to eat or an ice cream. The outdoor seating really helps amplify summer time!

    Pink Hill Park is right behind James Lewis Elementary and in front of Burr Oak Woods. This park is great for kids of all ages! They have baby swings, that have the best shade in the whole city, and they have big kid swings. All the jungle gyms are marked for the appropriate ages, 2 on up. There are a few shelters that can be rented out that the whole family can enjoy. There is a bike park, baseball fields and so much more. This is one of the best parks in all of Blue Springs!

    This Nature Center, which butts up against the northwest side of Timber Oaks, is a free facility that has many walking trails, play areas and a visitor center. This is such a great place for kids and adults. My boys love to go down the trails and look at all the wild life.

    This is such a great subdivision to walk/walk your dog. The trees are all nice and tall and provide a lot of shade. The roads aren't too hilly so you aren't strained when you are done walking. But the best part is that this subdivision is almost complete with sidewalks so you don't have to walk in the road. I walk my dog around the whole neighborhood everyday and get in a little over two miles. People walk their dogs or you will see a lot of baby strollers. Plus you can easily get to Pink Hill Park or Burr Oaks Nature Center and walk around those facilities. I love this part of town!

    If you are ever looking for something to do on the Fourth and don't want to pay for a show then you should come to this subdivision. There are multiple families that put on great shows and it seems like they are trying to one up each other every single year. People will gather in cul-de-sacs and enjoy time with neighbors, family and friends. It's such a little tight-knit community and its great!

    I love this part of town because it feels like a hidden gem. It is butt up against Burr Oaks Nature Center, Pink Hill Park, James Lewis Elementary School and 7 Highway, yet it does not have heavy traffic. All of those places are within walking distance so this is a great area for kids and dogs, which there are a lot of. Right down 7 Highway there is the bowling alley, movie theater and lots of great places to eat. This area is great for families and I absolutely love it!
