    The real estate market at the Lake of the Ozarks continues to improve. A review of the sales reported to the local MLS shows an increase of units sold of 11% from 2012 to 2013. There is reported increase of Total Sold Volume of $450,509,106 up 16 % from the prior year. This continues the trend of increase sales at the Lake. 2011 there were a total of 1858 sales, 2012 a total of 2,145 sales and in 2013 total sales of 2,410. Early indications are that the increase sales trend will continue into 2014.

    Osage Beach is hosting its 4th Lake of the Ozarks Food Truck Festival at the Osage Beach City Park on April 29th and 30th from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Come try something new!     The Canine Cannonball is this weekend at Dog Days Bar and Grill on the Grand Glaize Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks. Come on out and watch these dogs jump into a pool to see how far they can go.     Spring Harbor Hop 2022
    The Spring Harbor Hop 2022 will be held on May 7, 2022. This is the 25th annual Harbor Hop. Hop in your boat with your friends and cruise to the participating waterfront restaurants, draw cards at five different ones and try to get the best poker hand to win the grand prize.     Lake of the Ozarks is always bringing great entertainment and water fun for ultimate lake life!! What a great way to spend the day relaxing in one of the five-tiered swimming pools and listening to amazing music. Arapaho, LLC currently owns Back Water Jack's, Lazy Gators, Shady Gators, as well as Prewitt's Point, and Eagle's Landing shopping center. The proposed venue, right next to Backwater Jack's in Osage Beach, would be shaped similar to an amphitheater, but instead of seating, it would have tiered swimming pools. The new aquatic entertainment venue would be able to host full-time entertainment, DJ style as well, and local musicians.

    Wahlburgers Is Now Open
    Wahlburgers has now made it to Osage Beach! They are located inside of Hy-Vee on Osage Beach Parkway. Once you enter Hy-Vee, head to the right by produce and then you will order at the counter next to the deli. After your order, you will be handed a number, and you can head into the dining room where you'll find a self serve fountain machine. There are a few workers working in the dining room to assure quality and cleanliness. Someone will bring your food to you. Wahlburgers offer a variety of appetizers, salad bowls, burgers, and shakes! I did not try the sweet potato tots, but those will be on my mind until I try them at my next visit! But do not be shocked, it is higher priced than many other places.

    There is a new amphitheater coming to the Lake! The Osage Beach Planning and Zoning Commission approved the expansion of Backwater Jack's. The waterfront bar is building a 2,000 person amphitheater as well as an additional parking lot to hold up to 300 cars. A great addition to the area!
