    Poosey Conservation
    Poosey Conservation Area is in Northwest Livingston County, six miles southeast of Jamesport, nine miles northeast of Lock Springs, 12 miles southwest of Trenton and 13 miles northwest of Chillicothe. The area contains unique fern-draped rock bluffs, heavily-timbered hills of oak and hickory, rolling grass expanses, and a variety of wildlife. The foliage provides brilliant and showy fall colors. It's beautiful for a Sunday drive, or just to take in the country life and enjoy the fresh air and the beauty of nature. Poosey is within minutes from Jamesport, Chillicothe, and Trenton. A conservation area full of hunting, fishing, nature trails, camping, hiking, and don't forget horseback riding.
