I had the privilege of hanging out with some friends and trying Pho (pronounced "fu"- I learned) yesterday at Pho Tuoi, and it was delicious. I will certainly go back! We started with shrimp and pork spring rolls served with a yummy peanut sauce (I, of course, spruced it up with hoisin sauce and soy sauce). I had the medium bowl (should have gotten the small), with traditional noodles, steak, and I will certainly get it again. They coupled all bowls with basil, cilantro, lime, and egg sprouts for toppings. The place was clean, had excellent service, and was overall welcoming. I cannot wait to try it again soon! My friend brought me the best sandwich for lunch! I had never heard of the Italian Sausage Company before, and this is where she brought it from - bucket list if you haven't been or tried anything there. We shared the #7 (ham, capocollo, pepperoncini, to name a few yummy ingredients) and a Caesar Salad. I cannot wait to go back and try more options. My next sandwich will be the Friday special - the Italian Steak sandwich. Don't be fooled, as they are not limited to salads and sandwiches. They have all flavors of sausage (hence the name) and Chicken Spiedini Sausage (OH MY). Go try for yourself and tell me what you think!

I stopped by Tasty Baghdad restaurant in Gladstone over the weekend. Immediately, I was reminded why I love Gladstone local businesses. The service was top notch, exceeded only by the quality of the dishes. Everything here was fresh and very rich in flavor. I highly recommend the beef schwarma platter and baklava for dessert! Settled as the area of Linden, Gladstone formally incorporated under the Missouri Constitution by popular vote in November 1952. The purpose of formation was to avoid being annexed by Kansas City. A remnant of the mesic forested land on which Gladstone is built is preserved as the Maple Woods Natural Area, a park within Gladstone that is a National Natural Landmark. The Atkins-Johnson Farmhouse Property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Stone Canyon Pizza in Gladstone isn’t your typical Pizza Restaurant. Sure, they make amazing pizza, but they don’t stop there. My family’s two favorite items on the menu are the Meatball Grinder and the French Dip Sandwich. Personally, I love their salads. All their food is delicious, and the service is fast and friendly. Come hungry because portions are generous!

Gladstone Theatre in the Park has announced its 2023 Season, which will include Sister Act on June 30 through July 1-2nd, and Cinderella on August 4-6th. Auditions for the 2023 season will be held on March 5th and March 11th. Visit the website below for additional information!

Are you a pizza lover? This is a really fun restaurant that offers great service. They offer a really good lunch special and have really good sandwiches and salads. You will not leave hungry. They have a full bar and offer a great atmosphere. This is a good place for meetings and hanging out.

This is a free event that will take place from the weekend of September 30th until October 2nd. Friday and Saturday will have vendors as well as a carnival and Sunday will only be the carnival without vendors. You will get to enjoy a parade, many vendors, and many fall activities. Get excited for fall.

This little hidden gem is located at 69th and North Oak Traffic way in Gladstone. It is tucked back in the corner of the strip mall. We described it as Mongolian BBQ meets the Melting Pot. They provide you with an ala carte menu of items to choose. and you build your own dish and cook it table side. It is with a base of broth and you can add meat, veggies, mushrooms, and different sauces. The tables accommodate I believe up to six people. A great festive place to celebrate the small successes while keeping it on the healthy side!!!
