Have you ever had a pizza that was so good that you wanted to come back over, and over again? You will with Spin! Neapolitan Pizza! This is a hometown must try.Spin! Neapolitan Pizza, was founded on a very basic restaurant concept: Provide the best wood-fired pizza possible, and become your favorite neighborhood pizza place. It certainly is mine! They also embraced another basic concept - providing fast service with a quality dining experience. They do this by having customers place their order at the front counter, then sit down for a more full-service dining experience. The stores have been fashioned after a more contemporary style pizza restaurant, with many locations, featuring an urbanized feel. The decor is concrete floors, exposed brick, and wood tables and counter tops.Founded in 2005 by Richard and Gail Lozoff, and Ed Brownell, (co-founders of the Bagel Shop that would eventually become Einstein Bros. Bagels), Spin! - a Kansas City hometown company - has exploded from one location in Overland Park to ten KC Metro area locations. They are slated to open their 11th KC area location in Liberty later this year! Not only have they seen rapid growth in the Kansas City Market, but they have franchised and have opened stores in four other markets: including Omaha, Dallas, San Francisco, and Orange County, CA! But they keep their roots (and their corporate headquarters) right here in Kansas City!Spin! is absolutely famous for their brick oven pizza creations. But, even if pizza isn't your favorite meal, there is still plenty to choose from with soups, salads, sandwiches and antipasto creations on the menu as well. Finally, you would be doing yourself a major disservice if you allow yourself to leave without a cup of their own homemade gelato (Italian ice cream) on your way out! Our local Spin! Neapolitan Pizza location is in Lee's Summit at the SummitWoods Crossing shopping center just off of Highway 50 and Chipman Road, just south of I-470.
