As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted and efficiently assisted. Caroline was friendly, professional, and thorough as she finalized the rental agreement. She then escorted me to the vehicle, documented photos, and reviewed the paperwork with me.

The vehicle itself was clean, well-maintained, and free from any strong odors, which I really appreciated. The return process was just as seamless, and the driver who dropped me off at my repair shop was courteous and helpful. Excellent customer service from start to finish. I would definitely use this location again and again.

On a spur of the moment, I called Z Hair Academy in Lee’s Summit to see if anyone was available for a shampoo and blowout. The phone was answered courteously, and I was given an appointment time, but encouraged to come right in since the stylist was already available and I was nearby.

When I arrived, I was warmly greeted and invited to wait briefly. I browsed the retail area while waiting for my stylist, TJ, who soon met me and took me back to her station. She carefully prepped me with a cape, and after a short wait for an instructor, I was taken to the shampoo chair.

I had a wonderful experience at Yummy Donut Palace! The donuts are always fresh, soft, and absolutely delicious, but the cronuts are truly the star. They are perfectly flaky on the outside, soft on the inside, and full of rich flavor. Hands down, some of the best I’ve ever had!

The service is friendly, fast, and welcoming, which makes every visit enjoyable. It’s such a great local spot in Lee’s Summit and has definitely become one of my go-to places, especially when I’m craving those amazing cronuts. If you haven’t tried them yet, you are missing out. Highly recommend!

Being from California originally, we were blessed to have a pantheon of cultural food choices within our grasp. Moving to Kansas City 9 years ago just didn't have the same reach of multicultural food. Don't get me wrong, KC has some really great restaurants, but most of them are New American cuisine and our beloved BBQ.

We have tried a lot of different Ethiopian, Indian, Mediterranean, and Thai options all across the city. Most of the great Indian food resides on the JoCo side of the map, and sometimes we just don't want to drive out there. Now there is a really great Indian food restaurant in Raytown (Taste of the Himalayan), but we were stoked to see a new Indian restaurant had opened close to us in Lee's Summit! Enter Spice of Bombay.

We went on a Thursday night, and surprisingly, it was fairly busy. The decor was warm and welcoming, the fairly standard Indian decor. It was a large space with the tables fairly close together, but still offered enough privacy. The menu was pretty expansive but featured all the dishes you would expect. Nothing stood out as adventurous, which isn't a bad thing.

We decided to go with vegetable pakora (deep-fried vegetables). And I can honestly say it was maybe some of the best vegetable pakora I have had! Some restaurants tend to make these before service and just reheat them. These were piping hot and super crispy, indicating they were freshly made. And boy, it made all the difference. Not to mention the chutneys that it was served with were incredible. Our main courses were chana masala and bhindi masala. Both were perfectly spicy and not drowning in sauce, which some Indian restaurants tend to do. The service was fantastic, with multiple people checking on us throughout our meal.

Overall, this MIGHT be our favorite Indian food in the metro! Which is high praise because there are some great Indian restaurants around. We will definitely be back to try more of the dishes and highly recommend Spice of Bombay.

The menu is amazing and truly has something for everyone — everything I’ve tried has been full of flavor and consistently done right. Favorites include the pan-seared salmon, the Big Dipper French dip, and the Cuban sandwich. Even their brunch menu impressed me (which says a lot!).

The service is always friendly and welcoming, and the fun, neighborhood vibe makes this place extra special. It’s my go-to spot for client lunches because I know it never disappoints — and honestly, I just can’t get enough. Such a great little corner of Lee’s Summit. Highly recommend!

James A. Reed Memorial Wildlife Area is one of my favorite spots to practice archery when I want to be outside and left mostly to my own thoughts. The range itself is easy to enjoy right away, with field targets set at around 10 and 20 yards that make it great for warming up, dialing in form, or just getting comfortable with your shot. Although if you want a longer range, you’ll have to go elsewhere, like Archery Excellence in Independence, MO.

What really sets it apart, though, is the archery trail through the woods. Shooting along the forest path adds a fun, challenging layer—different distances, changing angles, and uneven terrain that keep things interesting and genuinely test accuracy. It feels immersive in a way flat ranges never quite do, and it makes practice feel more like an experience than a routine.

On a nice day, it’s a really pleasant place to spend time. The area is usually clean, quiet, and uncrowded, which makes it easy to focus and enjoy being there. When you do meet other people at the range, though, it’s usually in small numbers, and other archers are respectful and open to friendly conversation. If you like archery and appreciate practicing in a natural setting, James A. Reed is one of those places that’s easy to get excited about and easy to come back to.

Rajeunir is a place I’ve visited many times for facials and peels, and each visit has felt genuinely positive from start to finish. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the space simple and calm. What I appreciate most is how personal the care feels. I am usually treated by the same person who is very thoughtful and kind, remembering past conversations and checking in on how things have been going since my last visit. The menu is filled with Greek staples like gyros, Greek salads, and housemade hummus, with gyros earning their reputation as the most popular item. Alongside them are American favorites that stand on their own merit, like the burgers, which many regulars come in for specifically, and the Philly cheesesteaks that have built a loyal following over the years. There’s also a creative, playful side to the menu that embodies the family’s multicultural upbringing with fusion dishes like Greek nachos, Philly gyros, and Greek burgers that offer unique dishes you can’t find elsewhere.

I visit the Chick-fil-A at Summit Fair often, and whether I dine in or go through the drive-through, it is always a pleasurable experience. The food is consistently fresh, and the staff are kind and genuine. The location is convenient and delivers great service every time. My favorite light lunch is the Kale Salad with grilled nuggets. It is a satisfying and healthy choice when I need something quick.
