The city has a mix of established neighborhoods in the east and a fast growing area in the west. UPS and Quest Diagnostics are the city’s top employers.
I visited Black Dog Coffeehouse this morning in Lenexa off 87th Street and was fabulously enlightened. It's a very cozy yet urban feel with yummy coffees, lattes, pastries, and a great vibe about it. It was 9:30 a.m. on a weekday when I visited and it was still packed with people visiting, having business meetings and using the free wi-fi. Please check it out if you are in the area, as you will not be disappointed!
