    Santa Claus is coming to town for Christmas in July at the Liberty Farmer's Market! This event will be Saturday, July 19th, 8 am to noon. Yes, Santa will indeed be stopping by the market on his way home from his summer vacation to spread early holiday cheer. He will stop by to hear early Christmas wishes and to share how toy production is going at the North Pole.     Join Liberty Parks and Rec for a barking good time at the Pup Cup Pop Up Saturday, May 10th, from 2-4pm. Come out and enjoy a beautiful spring day at Stocksdale Dog Park.     Have you ever wondered what it would take to be a police officer? The Liberty Police Department has a Junior Police Academy that shows youth some aspects of police life. The program will run July 14-18, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Some of the topics covered with classroom learning and hands on activities include: fitness, patrol tactics, criminal investigations, traffic safety, self-defense and SWAT techniques. There are a limited number of openings and applications are due by May 12. Applications are available at the front office of any of the Liberty Middle Schools.     Liberty Parks and Rec will be hosting the Bad Rock Creek Disc Golf Tournament at Stocksdale Park for the Disc Golf Pro Tour.
