Dozens of Independence Day festivities are happening all over Kansas City and Lenexa's Community Days Parade is a great place to celebrate the holiday. Thousands gather to watch all kinds of groups and floats in the parade, which is one of the longest in the Kansas City area.The parade is scheduled for Tuesday, July 4th, from 10:00 a.m. until Noon at Old Town Lenexa, beginning at Santa Fe Trail Drive and Park Street.
