Their wines are made with locally grown grapes and are full of flavor. One of my personal favorites is their Frontenac, a red wine with notes of black cherry and vanilla.

Slides, climbing, racing, games, and more...and of course pumpkins... you've never seen a pumpkin patch like this before! Food and beverages? They have it! While you can't take in your own, the KC Pumpkin Patch has food and drinks for both kids and adults. Over 21...try the spiked float!

Built in 1857, the J. B. Mahaffie House was a crucial stopping point for the Westport Route of the Santa Fe, Oregon and California Trails. The travelers' hunger, and other needs, were taken care of here. It's such a cool place to visit for those who love history!

If you are a fan of nature, then look no further. This is a 126-acre nature park with so many different things to do. Here you can find a variety of habitats such as prairies, streams, forests, and meadows. There are three miles of nature trails, live animal displays, interactive exhibits, a
500-gallon aquarium, and a wildlife viewing room. This is also a good place to learn and gain knowledge on nature - and well, it's just plain fun!

Find your favorite ugly Christmas sweater and some family and friends for Ugly Christmas Sweater Bingo!! This event will be Saturday, December 18th, 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m., at the Red Crow Brewing Company, located at 1062 W. Santa Fe in Olathe. This fun event is free and you could win some awesome holiday-themed prizes.

This park is a 1,283-acre park in Olathe with a 40-acre lake/marina and 30-acre dog, off-leash, area. There are ten picnic shelters and play areas as well. Heritage Park is also home to the 18 hole Heritage Park Golf Course. Hours vary by season.

Need a day off to relax and have fun? Stop by Stone Pillar and Vineyard and Winery on July 18, 2021, and see over 30 local Kansas City vendors, live music, food trucks, sip on some wine, slushies, and more! This winery has 20+ Kansas-grown wines, hard ciders, and wine slushies. If you are a beginner or an expert wine drinker they have something for you! If you can not make it on the 18th stop by on Fridays for tastings, live music, or food events that may be happening!

In the summertime, families enjoy swimming, letting the kids romp on the playground equipment, or enjoy a lovely walking path that winds along a fountain-fed pond through the park setting. During colder weather, holiday displays create a festive environment as area residents step in to enjoy warmer events and indoor sports like basketball or exercise classes.

Single-use passes for indoor events are around $8. Multi-pass, monthly, and family memberships are also available. There is no charge for enjoying the playground and walking parks. Event rentals are extremely affordable, starting at just $35 per hour! Wedding rates are higher and include several rooms, the patio, the kitchen areas, and lovely settings for photo opportunities.

The new Indian Creek Library is now open in Olathe! The new library is located at 16100 W. 135th Street, Olathe, KS 66062. This state-of-the art facility features a new modern design, commons area with Park Street Pastry Café, 230 seat community event space, interior courtyard with an 18 foot fireplace, quiet reading room, study/meeting rooms, audio/video recording studio, maker space, gaming room, children's reading garden, and an exterior courtyard with adjacent city park and playground. The library will be opening spring 2020!! This is a destination you will definitely want to check out!

In the month of August 2019, Olathe had 135 homes close escrow and change ownership, in the $300K+ price range There are 388 homes in the same price range available for sale. This ratio of homes sold over time is called the absorption rate. If the absorption rate continues at the same pace as August 2019, in this price range, then it would take 2.9 months to sell all of the homes for sale assuming that all homes would sell, and that no additional homes came on the market.

In general terms a market is considered balanced when the supply of homes equals 5.5 to 6.5 months of inventory compared to demand or absorption rate. The lower the month's supply of home is, the seller tends to see an advantage in price or terms.
