You will often find lone boats pulling skiers at high speeds. It's awesome to see the skiers throwing water twenty feet high as they cut back and forth through the course. PT's is located at I-70 and the Oak Grove exit on the south side of the highway. It's small and family-owned with freshly made food to order. They are known for their delicious tenderloins but don't forget to order the onion rings. You won't regret stopping here.

One of the great things most of the boaters are excited about is a place to dock up or rest for a bit when loading and unloading their boats. Raintree recently installed several community docks along with a new boat ramp. Both have been a big win for all that have the luxury of belonging to an amazing lake loving community.

The Wal-Mart at 3410 SW Market St, in Lee's Summit, isn't your typical Wal-Mart. The staff is friendly and willing to help, from what I have experienced. They don't have a lot of employee operated registers open, but the self checkout's have an employee willing to help if needed. The store is always clean and seems to be well stocked.

The Pizza Hut at 3739 SW Hollywood Dr, in Lee's Summit, is a once a week staple for my family. The pizza is always fresh and the staff is friendly. We typically get two pizzas when we order and it's always less than $20 dollars. It's worth a try if you haven't checked them out!
