Mid-America Sports complex is located in Shawnee , KS along Johnson Dr, west of I-435. It is over 70 acres and features organized softball leagues for both men and women. Lots of parking and facilities including food services make it a popular place to enjoy community time. Behind the mens softball fields are even 2 soccer fields that are also used by area Rugby clubs. Part of the Johnson County Parks system, it is a great compliment of the many things to do. A short drive to the north along I-435 is the Legends Shopping Center that features among other things an area Nascar track. Batting cages are available for those aspiring softball players.
